Peggie asked Maimie what we she wanted for lunch. Maimie was working at the Shepparton Butter Factory at the time and Peg was on home duties. Maimie said make it a surprise. When Maimie got to work, she discovered her lunch was a sandwich with one pea.
Card parties where the ladies would meet at night to play Solo was a great time Peg remembers.
